I’m an educational development leader and scholar interested in how teaching improves, how educators navigate change, and what institutions can do to support that work.
I serve as Executive Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence at the University of Illinois Chicago, where I connect research, educational development, institutional leadership, and the practical questions educators face every day.
I’m especially interested in the signals educators receive from their environments and the transitions that shape how people enter, experience, and carry learning forward.
